I'm the world's greatest Luxor freak.

Might I inquire as to the status of Luxor v5? Is it moving along? Or in progress? Started? Or (yikes!) not even on the drawing board?

hi, i came up with some ideas about luxor 5 that i am waiting for.
May i suggest some features about Luxor 5?

Game Play
===============
1. this time, luxor 5 will not show a scrarub path to the pyramid by default but will need a power-up or must activate something to reveal the path.
2. On top of the pyramid. When any of the balls is in a danger zone, the crystal should display a blinking color of the ball that is closet to the pyramid. i sometime push one or two balls inside the pyramid and could not see it. you can make the crystal break when players lose the game.

Power-Up

3. New power-up system.
I try to make the player get more challenge.

For an example, Slow Power-up
Level 1: start at 2 seconds.
- This power-up need to upgrade to increase its range of duration. So...
Level 2: 2 - 3 seconds.
Level 3: 2 - 4 seconds.
Level 4: 2 - 5 seconds.
Level 5: .... seconds.
Level ...: .... seconds.

- But the duration that the player will get depend on how many destroyed ball for 3 matches in a row all together.
9 ball destroyed will get 2 seconds.
11 ball destroyed will get 3 seconds.
13 ball destroyed will get 4 seconds.
15 or more will get at maximum available.
()Note that maximum duration = maximum of current range.
()If you understand my idea you will see that it is impossible that the player will get maximum duration every time. So the arnk coin will be useful if you make an endless upgrading power-up.

- You may allow the player to upgrade minimum duration in order to deal with Insane Difficulty.
Level 1: instead of starting at 2 second will change to 2.5 seconds.
Level 2: 2.5 - 3 seconds.
Level 3: 2.5 - 4 seconds.
Level 4: 2.5 - 5 seconds.
Level 5: .... seconds.

Update: Hello everyone. I have some great news. A new Luxor is being developed and has been put into beta. It is called Luxor Adventures. I played the whole trial version and it is excellent! I am not quite sure when it is going to be released yet. The only thing that I am going to tell you now is that it is not the same as all the other Luxors. I know that doesn't help anyone too much but if anyone is anxious to hear more about it, post a reply here. Otherwise, I do not want to spoil anybody and tell you everything.

Well, I do not have any screen shots, but I will tell you a little bit about what I know of the game so far:

This new Luxor has a bunch of different games. The regular game mode is a hidden object game (Surprised?). There are hints. It also has mini games of spot the difference, putting puzzle pieces together, and match-3 (like 7-wonders). But don't think that the classic Luxor is not in this game. It is. In each hidden object scene, there are two orbs/balls you have to find. After you found one orb of each color, an artifact is unlocked. Each artifact is a regular marble-shooting scene that you can play. Everything is the same with powerups every third match except it is more like a bonus level (I think) which means it wouldn't matter if the balls went into the pyramid. You also have to find two anhk coins in every scene. Find 50 or more and 2 more game modes (Bonus and Match-3) are unlocked. That is all I know for now. This is only the beta version. Things could change, but so far the game is fantastic!

Oh man, I'm very curious about Luxor 5 *-*
I like very much to play it!
