    Seems I am alone playing this game but will ask any way. Once I actually got an extra life. How did I get it? Anyone know? Also isn't there some way to avoid going all the way back to level 1 when you use up your lives? I'm sick of the first levels.

    The extra Life is attained through point accumilation, it's either at 100,000 or 1,000,000 points.

    There is no way to avoid starting over at level 1 when you lose all your lives... except with cheat codes which I will post up Friday morning. :)

    Thanks for the depressing answer. I am looking forward to only the cheats but I was wondering... in which file does this game store where to continue from before you lose all you lives? I ask because if I backup that file couldn't I just copy it back and overwrite once I've lost all lives thereby restoring myself back to where I backed up?

    Arlene,

    Right Click on the desktop shortcut for Luxor Mah Jong.

    Click on properties.

    Then at the very end of Target, hit the spacebar once and then type "-unlocklevels -unlockstages" (without the quotations).

    Click apply and then start the game as usual.

    You should now be able to start any level. I hope this helps.
