    I have been unable to get the key at this screen where the four dynamite sticks are in the blocked entrance. The only tool available is a metal detector and it goes busy throwing off stars, but no key is revealed, and clicking anywhere near the area puts the metal detector back in the tools section. HELP! So far it's been great, but this is no fun at all.

    Some tips that make Samantha Swift even more enjoyable:

    1. Collect lightning bolts to use as hints.

    2. Keep an eye on dialogue from Samantha, as well as the yellow help text next to her.

    Hi Danirae.

    When you select the metal detector, move it to the roped off area where it will turn blue, then click on the roped off area. Your cursor will then turn into the metal detector, and SLOWLY move it around until you hear an audible beep, and the lights on the metal detector turn green. Click when this occurs, and you've found the key.

    I recently received the following question in our Facebook forum:

    "About ure game i am stuck on one spot and i was wondering if u can help me it in this one level where u have this ladder and a pencil i am looking for a crown and throne i can't seem to find either one of them says u needuse tools and the only tools i have are the ladder and the pencil not sure how to use them let me know if u can at least give me a hint thanks gina"

    Our resident Samantha Swift expert provided the following response:

    "You place the ladder on the chairs at the right side of the screen. They then lower into the ground and a secret panel opens that reveals the crown and throne."

    I am having a problem with this game, I am at a door with 4 panels, it says to remove the panels. there are different symbols on each panel, and across the top and down the right side are all the symbols. When I move each one, 1 symbol will light up one from the top and one from the side and then the arrows turn red from green and it's locked. There is a thing in the center that you can move but I can't figure out what it does. It says I am supposed to be collecting a Gong, I cannot get past this stage, I have started over and came to the same problem again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I too am having a problem like gbird8 above, I am also at the door with the Chinese symbols and have two symbols yellow and the green thing in the middle moves around but the side gliders wont go any more because they are red as well I cant get out the room to find a gong. Any help would be great:)

    Once the top and side bar are locked, they will be highlighting a Chinese symbol. Click and drag the center hub over the door panel bearing the Chinese symbol that matches the one on the slider bars. This will remove the door panel.

    I am having the same problems as Jules4286 and Gbird8. I have 3 symbol's that are highlighting and have drag the hub over all the highlighted symbols. I also try matching each one from top to bottom and in different combinations.
    I'm stuck with a closed door.
    Please help me,( I'm stuck banging my head against the door)

    Hi Raven,

    If you're dragging the center hub over the correctly matched symbol and the door panel is not being removed, you may have an old version of the game where some people were seeing this issue.

    Please send us an email at support@mumbojumbo.com, and we will fix you up with a new version.

    I bought Samantha Swift and the Hidden Roses of Athena from RealArcade last week. I was enjoying the game and then it froze. I uninstalled and reinstalled it, played along and crashed again. Set up new user, played to the Prayerwheels. I painted the first row, then when I began to paint the second row, I got an error that the object doesn't support that action. Now I can't pick up the paintbrush to continue the game. I've had problems with the cursor being a checkerboard square instead of the arrow and objects being just random lines of different colors, instead of the Rose Painting, for example. Is there a newer version of the game and how do I tell what version I have? I've seen posts regarding a video card problem. Wouldn't that prevent the game from playing at all? Please help, as I was really looking forward to playing this game more than once.
